Q) Information? Knowledge? What's the difference??

A) There's a world of a difference between information and knowledge... Technically:
Information can be seen from a syntactic [a set of rules] and semantic [ making sense out of it] viewpoint; giving more value to seeing it from the semantic viewpoint, the information is seen to contain new meaning.
To build a theory of knowledge creation it is important to concentrate on the semantic aspects of information.
But, more simply:
Yep… there’s a difference … a WORLD of difference. Information is basically data which has been obtained by someone. Knowledge, in simple terms, involves making sense out of the sea of unrelated data you see online. This where we come in!!

Q) BPOs? And now KPO?? Is KPO a necessary domain??

A) KPO is the acronym for Knowlege Process Outsourcing...
KPO is a very valuable investment for any company venturing into new domains or trying to diversify their business! Let me explain how: Gyaan will do the groundwork for companies trying to grow, by various methods like market surveys, identifying the major players in the industry, extensive internet research etc. Once we accomplish this then we make sense out of the data collected and present it in a simple and clear cut fashion to our clients, along with some recommendations to make their venture a success.
